Built to your specification.
Choose the finish, the bottle type, and the lubricant. It arrives assembled, fitted, and test-sprayed, engraved with its unit number (# of 10) and up to 24 characters of your own on brushed units.

Maintenance kit to get you started.
The kit contains lubricant, a full set of replacement seals, springs, a check valve ball, a spare dip tube, and a trigger hinge pin. The entire assembly can be taken apart with a 7mm wrench.
Machined metal parts are not sold as replacements. They are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Certificate of authenticity.
Hand signed. Printed on Hahnemühle mold-made 100% cotton certificate paper, with a deckle edge, watermark, and UV security fibers, carrying a serialized hologram matched to your unit.

Not a template. A personalized note of thanks from Paul, the founder of The Spray Bottle Project with commentary about your specific bottle. Each letter is unique and will include a Hahnemühle serialized hologram seal.

What is the lead time?

Each unit is machined to order, then hand assembled and fitted. Current lead time is 6 months from commission to shipment. Periodic updates will be sent throughout the build.
Why does it cost $5,000?

For those who purchase, this is a way to back the mission of the project as much as a purchase of what we think is the most luxurious spray bottle to have ever been produced.
This is an ultra-exclusive offering of ten units only. This is more akin to a piece of functional art than a tool to be heavily used, although it absolutely can be.
Each Founder's Edition sprayer is custom-built and individually numbered. It is CNC-machined from solid 316 billet, then hand assembled and fitted. Machining costs are heavily dependent upon volume and tolerance. This offering is low volume and high tolerance, therefore the cost to produce each of these units reflects this reality.
Will there be a more affordable version?

What is engraved?

The unit number will be on every spray head. For the brushed finish, up to 24 characters of your choosing will go on the collar beside it. For the electropolished finish, the number is set inside the assembly and is not visible once built. No custom engraving can be added with electropolishing.
