FAQ

You have questions, we have answers.

What is the lead time?

+

Each unit is machined to order, then hand assembled and fitted. Current lead time is 6 months from commission to shipment. Periodic updates will be sent throughout the build.

Why does it cost $5,000?

+

For those who purchase, this is a way to back the mission of the project as much as a purchase of what we think is the most luxurious spray bottle to have ever been produced.

This is an ultra-exclusive offering of ten units only. This is more akin to a piece of functional art than a tool to be heavily used, although it absolutely can be.

Each Founder's Edition sprayer is custom-built and individually numbered. It is CNC-machined from solid 316 billet, then hand assembled and fitted. Machining costs are heavily dependent upon volume and tolerance. This offering is low volume and high tolerance, therefore the cost to produce each of these units reflects this reality.

Will there be a more affordable version?

+

Yes. Work on a broader-market version is underway. We are not sharing specifications or pricing yet.

Check out the "What's Next" page for more information.

What is engraved?

+

The unit number will be on every spray head. For the brushed finish, up to 24 characters of your choosing will go on the collar beside it. For the electropolished finish, the number is set inside the assembly and is not visible once built. No custom engraving can be added with electropolishing.

Where is it made?

+

The head is CNC-milled in China by a precision machining partner, to our drawings and tolerances. It was designed and engineered in the United States, and every unit comes back here for final fitting and testing before it ships. Nothing leaves until it has been assembled by hand and test-sprayed.

What does the warranty cover?

+

The machined metal parts carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original owner. Wear parts, meaning seals, lubricant, springs, check valve ball, dip tube, and hinge pin, are stocked and supplied at cost, and a repair kit ships in every box. Glass vessels are covered for 30 days and replaceable at cost.

We do not run a repair bench. Every service step is documented on the Maintenance page and takes the tool in the box.

How is payment handled?

+

Checkout runs through Stripe. For this offering, ACH bank debit is the only payment method, and debits take up to four business days to clear. Sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies.

Every commission carries a 72-hour money-back guarantee: cancel for any reason within 72 hours of commissioning for a full refund, no questions asked. We initiate the refund within 5 business days. ACH timing applies in both directions: your debit must clear before we can send money back, and your bank may take several more business days to post the refund. After 72 hours the commission is final.

Does the head fit other bottles?

+

Yes. The head uses a 28-400 thread finish which is a commonly selected choice among manufacturers of spray bottles and soap pumps.

How does shipping work?

+

Free, insured shipping within the United States. For this offering we ship to US addresses only — we are not shipping internationally.

Can I cancel or return it?

+

Yes, within 72 hours of placing your commission, for any reason and for a full refund. We initiate the refund within 5 business days; allow for ACH bank processing on top. After that, each unit is built to your order, numbered and, on brushed units, engraved, so the commission is final.

Two exceptions: if we cannot ship within the quoted lead time we will give you a revised expected date. If that date is within 30 days of the original, the build continues unless you cancel; if it is later, we continue only with your express consent and otherwise cancel and refund you in full. And if a unit arrives damaged or defective we repair or replace it at our cost.
